An acrylic painting workshop instructed by Cecilia De Silva of Anglemont, B.C., and hosted by Brushes of Barriere member Mary Schofeild, was held at the The Ridge building in Barriere on Saturday, July 27. Nine enthusiastic artists with varied levels of expertise turned out for the workshop. The workshop provide instruction in learning a number of different methods for working with acrylic paints. The artists shared ideas, socialized, and also enjoyed a delicious potluck luncheon.
